Hey, I have a Dell Dimension XPS T500 (which I got for christmas '99). It had a lot of preloaded software on it, one which included Easy CD Creator (version 4.02 I think.), which I used to burn all of my CDs. About 3 months or so ago, the program disappeared. It's nowhere on my computer (no, I'm not one of those computer illiterate people who just deleted the shortcut off the desktop, lol). Whether a worm got to it, or something like that, I'm not sure. Anyways, since it was already on my computer when I got it, I don't have serial numbers or anything. Is there any way I could get Easy CD Creator back on my computer without paying?

I don't know what they charge but you may be better off just buying a CD burning program. Most of the drivers, etc, are available on the Downloads section but I don't know about the 'applications' that came with the PC. Usually these are 'lite', 'Limited' or the trial/freeware versions of the programs and all of those would be obsoleted by newer versions by now. If you check around the net, you may be able to find a Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Basic or even Platinum relatively cheap since the current Roxio Version is 7. This option may be less expensive than purchasing a new applications CD from Dell (if it's available).
