I tried to use 'Windows driver update/find driver' tools, none found. The tool box software from Canon will run (I think I set it to run as Xp sp3), but needs to find a driver which for a 32bit system is packaged as lide20lide30n670un676un1240uvst7031a_xpen.exe and was found at Canon. Window 8 will not recognize that driver because it is a 32bit driver. Or I do not know how to set up a Xp sp3 environment that will accept the install of that driver as if it were running the thing as 32bit.
